Sacrament of Baptism

Christians are born through the Sacrament of Baptism, that is, through baptism we are born as “other Christs.” Christ has no body now but the baptized. The baptized are the body of Christ, the people of God, the Church.

Requirements for Parish Baptism

Parents and Godparents are required to attend a baptismal seminar. They are offered in English and in Spanish. Please call the office for the date of the next available seminar. At the end of the seminar the instructor meets with each set of parents to set a date for their child’s baptism. Again, please check with the office to find out the date of the next seminar.
